Lollipop Portraits, video installation, 2007
The installation shows a series of video portraits of female subjects ranging from age four to eighty four. Each subject is in the process of licking a lollipop. The recurrent action of the gradual licking away of the layers of lollipop and the intimate sounds generated weave a tapestry of sound: gurgling, crunching, popping, slurping.
